This is a picture of my uncle (right) working with ROBBIE, one of the first Wheelbarrow Bomb Disposal Robots in the early 1970's.

 

 

Cousin David Williams of the Parachute and Airborne Forces. David was awarded Champion recruit of the year. The picture is taken from an original used by a Plymouth newspaper. The text of the cutting is below.

 

 

My other uncle, William Hancock worked with the first Tornado Aircraft in use by the Royal Air Force.

Edwards mother, Rosetta Andrews was the sister of my 2nd Great-Grandmother Ann Andrews.
